I often get an additional page with a bunch of strange and put symbols discarded after the task is completed. Then only, it has stopped working and jobs would sit in the queue for hours before finally printed. I have installed the printer when we bought the MAC 2 years and it worked like a charm.

NOTE: I am able to print to the HP1536dnf of the Mac, but I am not in a position to operate the scan function wirhout to get the above message. My MacBook Pro is connected to a cable Modem wireless Motorola & Gigabit Router (model SGB6680) via a wireless link, and the HP1536dnf is connect through the router Motorola (192.168.0.6) Lan connection. I have check the router and Mac configurations without solving the problem. If these conditions are correct, restart the device and try to scan the image. Make sure that your device is turned on, check the connection and make sure that your network is working properly.
